Squall!!!

Getting caught in a storm

The sky was engulfed with deep thick clouds and the wind was swirling hilariously, I was returning home from tuition and get caught in violent storm. The ambience was terrifying with thunderstorm while the lightning was falling straight down the earth. I was alone struggling with the jeopardized situations. Literally, I was dumbfounded to see the houses crumbling down and the trees getting uprooted from its soil with bare eyes.

 The roads were silent and not a single creature could be caught in sight. I thought if availing myself ma shelter somewhere under a shed. But as long as my vision went, I could not find any shelter for myself. Besides, all these transverseness, my phone signal went dumb and I was horrified with that very happening. My ideas of calling my parents went futile. 

After few minutes, the hurricane accelerated much more and I could not even manage to stand erect. The street dogs came barking and surrounded me with furious eyes. I scooted as fast as I could and took out an umbrella from my bag. Unfortunately, the umbrella broke down and went backwards due to high wind speed. Meanwhile, I saw two persons heading towards a closed tea shop. They were from the nearby vicinity. However, the escorted me to reach home safely. The very next day, the newspaper gave the portraiture of the violent squall. I was sulked a lot to read the news about those two people who helped me the last day got trampled under the trunk of a tree that descended on them and was pronounced spot death.
